After taking a few months offline, Dusty Creek is back but things are going to look a little different around here.

I've sold my home in Roma and I'm relocating east. yay!

After years of running Dusty Creek from regional Queensland, the cost and isolation of operating a small business remotely has become increasingly difficult and limiting. Being closer to larger centres means better access to freight, resources, markets, people, support and new opportunities both for Dusty Creek and for me.

So rather than simply going back to the way things were, I'm changing the way I run this business.

Fewer products. Less stock. More considered releases. And online orders shipping once a week.

There's plenty of Dusty Creek stock still in the shed, and my goal over the coming months is to move as much of it as possible while I relocate and work out what the next version of Dusty Creek looks like for 2027.

You'll also notice something else changing around here.

For a long time this website was almost entirely about product. But Dusty Creek has always been part of a much bigger story.

So you'll start seeing more of You On Channel?, my photography, rural stories, travels, the people I meet and life behind Dusty Creek.

I'll also be getting back to market stalls before Christmas once I'm settled into my new place. Keep an eye on our socials for where I'll be popping up.

For now, the website is open, the caps are back and I'm taking this next chapter as it comes.
