The story behind the image:

Auvergne Station late 70's, Robert Townsend and Freddy Pockock (on the rope) roping and catching the old fashioned way before the bionic arm. Think of hanging on the front of that bull catcher going flat strap through the scrub! You'd want to trust your driver!

My dad (Robert) and his crew mustered the Auvergne scrub in the late 70's early 80's till he married the Managers daughter (my mum Mandy Fogarty) and they were later married at Auvergne homestead.
