Retro Ringer Series – Shilo Station - Townsend Lineup Cap
A cap that carries the heart of a Territory childhood—barefoot days, busted arms, and growing up wild.
The Retro Ringer Series is all about history, and this Shilo Station Edition brings it back to 1985, when the Townsend kids lined up for this iconic photo. With a cotton navy crown, tan/rust brim, chocolate mesh, and classic rope detail, this cap is built tough—just like the families who made a life on the land.
But the real story? It’s under the brim.
📸 Under-Brim Photo:
A snapshot of the Townsend crew back in ‘85, captured at Shilo Station, before I came along.
Lined up (hopefully correctly, you mob can correct me if not!):
➡ Modena Allan (Townsend), Robert Townsend, Nathan Townsend, Bubba Townsend, Shannon Townsend-Tapp, Tinkey Townsend, and Munki up front—broken arm and all.
Growing up at Shilo was nothing short of an adventure. Uncle Bubba and the crew lived over the creek at Hazard, and today, Aunty Joanne and Munki are the last Townsends still on the original stations.
This cap is more than just fabric—it’s a tribute to the Territory way of life, to the families who built it, and to the legends who grew up in the dust and the freedom of the bush.
